The Tatari t3 tier list is best used as an evolution-priority guide rather than a fixed power chart. A Tatari may be excellent in one mode and only average in another, while some units become valuable only after reaching T3. Your roster, available events, and current story stage should all influence the final decision.

The central progression pattern is straightforward:

1. Evolve an initial group of T1 Tatari for Story Mode.
2. Add more T1-to-T2 evolutions to meet Dojo requirements.
3. Push the strongest T2 units into T3 when their event conditions are active.
4. Consider higher evolution investments only after your important T3 skills are online.

Some Tatari are listed highly because their T3 form changes a key mechanic, but the required event may not be active. In that situation, another unit with an available evolution can provide better short-term progress.

The highest-priority T3 targets are the Tatari whose upgraded kits change how a formation operates. Monkey and Butterfly stand out because their T3 effects improve lane coverage and crowd control rather than simply adding a small amount of damage.

Monkey is a strong offensive priority because its T3 form changes its attack coverage to three lanes. That makes it useful against formations where enemies approach through multiple routes. It is especially attractive when your current team lacks consistent multi-lane pressure.

Butterfly is the leading control priority. Its T3 upgrade allows the Sleep effect to spread to adjacent Tatari, increasing the value of each successful control application. This can reduce pressure on the frontline and create safer windows for damage dealers.

Puppy and Ash Lava are excellent follow-up targets. Puppy upgrades into area Weak application, while Ash Lava expands the range of its healing and attack-buff effects. These upgrades improve formation consistency and can support several different team structures.

Mantis, Mushroom, Deer, Tideion, and Seal fill important roles after the first game changers. Mantis can help control a lane with Fragile and area damage. Mushroom offers a broad utility package. Deer supplies piercing Lightning damage, Tideion improves lane reach, and Seal increases both damage output and Weak application.

After the main game-changing upgrades, focus on units that solve a clear roster problem. Penguin, Puffer Fish, Turtle, Sunflower, Godzilla, Crab, Unicorn, Panda, Wolf, and Bat each have useful applications, but their value depends more heavily on mode, formation, and investment level.

Penguin is a practical progression choice for many players. Its T3 form can continue helping in Story Mode because the unit leaves an Ice Sculpture after defeat, creating additional time for the team to absorb incoming damage. This makes Penguin a useful defensive bridge while a more demanding tank is still underdeveloped.

Puffer Fish is a flexible support option with healing, buffing, and tanking potential. It is not always the first unit to evolve, but it can fit several teams when you need a unit that performs more than one job.

Turtle and Sunflower provide a combination of damage and healing. They are useful when a formation needs sustain without giving up all offensive pressure. Godzilla remains a solid tank option, while Crab can become especially valuable in Gold Rush after receiving enough investment.

Bat is one of the more attractive flexible choices because it can contribute across Boss challenges, Heart Invasion, and Story Mode. It may not replace Monkey or Butterfly as a first priority, but it offers broader utility than many narrow specialists.

Unicorn and Wolf should be selected when their preferred modes matter to your account. Unicorn can support Heart Invasion and Electric Dojo teams, while Wolf is useful in Dojo and Gold Rush. These units are valuable when they solve an immediate objective, but they should not automatically take priority over universal upgrades.

T2-to-T3 evolution is event-based, so the best decision changes with the current schedule. Requirements may involve Fishing, Marathon, Treasure Hunt, Gold Rush, Cozy Farm, or other limited activities. This makes planning more important than blindly following a static order.

The most efficient account path is usually not “evolve the strongest name immediately.” Instead, use a three-part test:

• Is the T3 condition currently available?
• Does the unit improve my next objective?
• Is the upgrade worth Wish Boxes or other premium materials?

If the answer to all three is yes, the Tatari is a strong candidate. If only one answer is yes, save resources and continue building your broader roster.

A strong progression path balances immediate chapter progress with long-term T3 value. Start with enough T1-to-T2 Tatari to form a functional Story Mode team. Continue adding units to meet Dojo requirements, then direct T2 resources toward game-changing T3 upgrades.

Do not judge a unit only by its damage number. A wider Sleep effect, a three-lane attack, area Weak, or a larger healing zone can improve a whole formation more than a small personal damage increase. Likewise, a tank that is excellent in Gold Rush may not be the best choice for Story Mode.

The best list is the one that supports your current objective. A player pushing chapters may value Penguin, Ash Lava, and Monkey differently from a player focused on Dojo clears or Boss challenges. Use the tier groups as a framework, then adapt them to your available events and existing team.
